Hi Allan (Blacknbluedog)
Now this is a can of worms, in the past I have used
"Stixall" Adhesive & Sealant Clear - "Gorilla Glue" clear - Evo-Stick "The Dogs B*ll*cks" clear and 2 part epoxy, all slow setting times.
Evo-Stick "Sticks like sh*t" clear is a grab adhesives short setting time.
In the end for fixing the deck beams I all ways go for one of the new Hybrid adhesives with a slow setting time and most are waterproof.
Fred

That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.
Good question Alan, my preference is a 2 part epoxy. And the longer the setting time the better the bond, as it is usually flexible enough to allow for minor movements without breaking.
If you can be sure of no movement then a fast set such as is available from poundland.
Cheers Colin.
