If you check my harbour Bill, you will see my model of HMS Amethyst, great kit easy build, might be a little more complicated to change to HMS Magpie.

HMS Magpie U82.

Evening All.
Being an ardent WW2 fan of all military aspects,but in particular the RN I was wondering in light of the recent sad but not unexpected passing of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh if anyone has built or is considering building a Modified Black Swan class frigate.
HRH took command of HMS Magpie (A modified Black Swan Class Sloop) in September 1950 following a distinguished WW2 record.
It was his first and only command prior to undertaking Royal Duties.
During her war(1943/1945) HMS Magpie successfully destroyed 3 U boats with one other probable.

Now it pains me to mention them but I know that Deans make a Black Swan Kit,ie HMS Amethyst.
Has anyone built the kit or done a scratch built Black Swan.
If so it would be good to share your build or pictures.
