I bought this yacht as a kit in Auckland New Zealand 1973 as a project i was in the merchant navy working for the New Zealand Shipping co. on the M.V. Hi Mike.
glad that i could help i took the entire cabin off this evening as i had to fit a new sail servo and on turning the cabin section upside down spotted very small numbers on sections of the wood i then remembered all the years ago that the deck and cabin etc came all marked out so you just had to cut them out very easy the hull was very thin plastic type and was prone to cracking a few years ago i striped the lot down and pumped builders foam inside the hull manage to marsked of the servo and rudder section and it made the hull a lot firmer and was still light i plus i know that it won't sink

    Best Regards
    David

Skiers with extra large cajones
if you think Babs looked ok on skis, check these Aussie maniacs out ! Ski racing at over 100mph. Boats sound fantastic as well.

    Hi Rick,
While attempting water skiing for the first in S. Africa many many moons ago I hit the water a few times at only 30+knots. And I can assure you the saying is very true - It feels like concrete!💥☹️ Mucho painful 😭

    You are absolutely right.
When slaloming on Candlewood Lake I went over so far, hit the water. I thought my eye was getting ripped out of its socket. I loved it😂😂😂
    At 130. I think not☹️☹️

    Much better JB👍
Now Utoob offers me HD up to 1080p. Vid works lighter too.
Now even on the distant shots I can see that 'something' is being towed.
Shots near the jetty show Babs quite well now.
Why do you have to shoot in the old (1992😮), closed, Microsoft AVI format?
Conversions of AVI are almost always dodgy I've found.
My cameras use the H264 or 265 codecs and produce MPEG (MP4) files directly.
Never mind, we got there in the end😊
    Cheers, Doug 😎

That's what the camera shoots in Doug, can't change it, have to change the format in the editor.

Problematic finger there JB. Nice run though. Your pond has a little vegetation problem. My river also has this in the summer.👍

"Rescue Launch "
Grandad Graham was looking after his 7 year old grandson for the day, grandson Finley asked (several times) - he could help building a model boat. After he had gone home, Graham started to think about a boat he could help build. Graham had come across "HAkits" in a couple of blogs on the https://model-boats.com/ website, he then decided that their Rescue Launch would make a nice model for a 7 year old. The kit was duly ordered and arrived a few days later.

The boat looks great, really nice.
I bet Grandad doesnt even get a look in now though 😂
Some great driving by Finley, smooth turns and not just flat out everywhere.

    Very nice.

    Thanks Will,

Re the turns. The launch has a custom mixer built in to reduce the throttle on turns. The sharper the turn, the more the reduction. I didn’t want it rolling over attempting to turn flat out.😉
