Actually I am on the west coast and it is much softer climate here. Our blossoms and flowers are out. Rest of Canada is cold though...lol

Fella's...I have been on a off modeling for 30 years. Some are scratch built, some are kit built, some were bought and restored and a couple are store shelf finds. Takes about a year during my working days and about 7 months during my retirement days to build a scratch model. I just restore now, I think my scratch built days may be done. Costs over $400 just to build, then I need another $400 to put in all the running gear, sound modules, esc's and radio's etc

Well done Brightwork.. Your kit built Commodore looks in pretty good condition - and in your care should be back on the water soon.

Not many boats have two shafts and props these days. With just one central rudder you may find that it does not like turning at low speed very much.

In this case you may consider converting to 2 or 3 rudders and\ or programming your transmitter (if possible) to give asymmetric thrust to help right turns.

    Good luck!

Dr. John...she will be getting twin rudder and new screws. May even change out the shafts, will see. I guess that's why the original builder put the big black rudder keels on her. I will redo her interior cockpit in mahogany brightwork. I appreciate all the folks support here. It's nice to share.

Callie Graphics is a great outfit.

They will provide vinyl graphics of any kind to meet you needs. Their products are far better than anything you can do with decal paper and a computer printer or stick on letters. They are sensitive to the needs of model builders. Prices are very reasonable and service is prompt. I have used them many times.

Hint: when purchasing graphics from them I buy spares in case things go wrong while applying them of they are damaged in the future.

Imaginary friend….. when you know you’re going to go somewhere where line ups will be, take them with you….. talk with them often…. You want to get to the front quickly, take a beach ball with you too

Without a doubt, best thing going…. No one knows how to deal with you and they just want you GONE

    In and out fast
