Patrol Boat
3rd hand boat Through an amazing co-incidence I know the builder. This video was a test of it in water for the first time with me at the helm. I was pleased it went well. I will put in in my harbour soon.

Downeast Lobster Yacht
http://ellisboat.com/bunker-and-ellis-downeast-boatbuilders/
The Ellis boats must have been the inspiration for this old kit from Midwest. I bought the boat as seen in the first photos which was built by Don Sutton, Metro Modellers Toronto, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
He knew I had my eye on making one from scratch and offered me a fair price to buy his boat.
I am now adding the hard cover over the cockpit as seen on many of the Bunker & Ellis boats.
Previously I added deck furniture to the helm and passenger. Also found the near scale figures.
My plan is to add the forward railing around the bow; add deck boards and more furnishings such as two step boarding ladder, navigation equipment, and possible a fresh coat of paint to the hull.

Aerokits Solent (plan built)
This is my just finished Solent built from the original plans and templates which I bought on eBay. Like many others on this forum, I have come over from aircraft, so that knowledge gave me s head start building this. She will hopefully get her first outing next week weather permitting!

Klondike
This was just finished by my brother after a four year build. He used plans from the original sternwheeler from Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. We grew up there so there is a connection. She is seven feet long and the hull is built entirely from popsicle sticks. She is bound for the museum in Whitehorse as a static display.

Great work. A superb example of how a scale model gives viewers a 3D view of something that exists now only in 2D images.

    Brilliant 👍
Love the detailing, and on such a mammoth scale as well!
Popsicle sticks! You must have made a lot of children very happy👍😉
I've heard of others getting all family and friends to 'collect' coffee stirring sticks ...
Next model with zig million matchsticks perhaps ? 😉
Shame we will never see her under way but a superb memorial to her and her crews. Cheers Doug 😎

It looks like an Aeronaut Classic, I am half way through building one and am not happy with it as I have built it as per instructions and the bottom skins are a good eight of an in too short. it seems tome that a lot of the parts like the side stringers are way too thin. I saw a picture of one that was being built that some one was doing a couple of years back and now the parts have been dramatically skimped now. I am very dissapointed with the model generally.

a 30"scratch built pt. boat, I built hull from .8mm ply using a resized eezebilt 20" plan.
the deck fittings were copied as best as I could from photos and drawings found on line. powered by 2- 2200kv brushless out runner motors through 2 20 amp speed controllers. twin contra rotating props twin rudders fast and light a pleasure to build
