GALA DAY VARIOUS
Knightswood Boating Club Glasgow. Part 2. Again, great day with smashing stalls and a childrens play centre, with Knightswood Club providing a variety of small power boats for the children to get "Hands On' experience. it was a joy watching their faces when they realised it was THEM that was actually sailing the boat's. My only regret I didn't have my small grandson with me.

This looks like an ideal boating lake - Next to Palma Cathedaral, Mallorca! 👍

So, here's my current project in the works. I got a nice 25-inches Deep-Vee fiberglass hull a while ago and now (finally) have a concept for it. Almost by accident I came across a plan for an American bass boat which in turn reminded me of a boat that caught my attention when I was a kid while reading a boating magazine. The boat is a 28-footer from a now defunct firm named Uniflite. it was a small deep-sea sports fisherman called "Salty Dog". Uniflite was very well known within the American boating circles during the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Uniflite created and supplied PBR river patrol craft to the US Navy between 1965 and 1972 for rivers in Vietnam using an already existing pleasure boat hull and adapting jet nozzles for propulsion. So, I just created a prototype template of the cabin so more to follow 😎.

Yacht sails great. The power model owner needs educating regarding giving way to sail! Plenty of room for both models on that water without sailing in close quarters
Certainly a bargain at a fiver

As they say oop north in England.
Ay up Baggie, tha's got some reet nice boating locations around you m'laddie.
They look cracking places to sail yachts or motor boats to your hearts content. We have to fight for any piece of water round here with the anglers, golf courses, and private lakes.
    I'm getting very envious 😊

Throstle is a Draginforce65 yacht I am loving getting used to sailing her...discovering how she handles and improving my skills. Everyone I meet is so friendly too at the Norwich Boat club. Eating Park boating lake is a fabulous place... you must try it. I promise you will not be disappointed. Great relaxing cafe in the park too! Boing boing Baggies! 👍

Hull is about 36" long and from ORION Mouldings[i think !!] its quite nice and shows all the rivets in good detail. We are at present making a Puffer 54" long and i am going to make the hull from soldered tinplate[ i hope !!! ] Les Breame
