Razorbill 36R MM284
My latest project, started 1st nov 2014, designed by W J Daniels in Oct 1953 for the Magazine, Model Maker. Plan No. MM284. Featured in "The Model Maker Magazine" October 1953. Classified as a R36R. Purchased plans and magazine on internet. Now finished and sails very well. Had to increase rudder downwards and fix foresail boom to stop it kicking up.

Starlet - MM1048
Designed by Vic Smeed in 1966 for the Magazine, Model Maker. Plan No. MM1048. Bought plans from Member and decided to build it as an upgrade to Wee Nip I.e. one sail to two sails. Sailed well. in strong wind had problems with mainsail so fitted a kicking strap which really made a difference.

VOSPER CRASH TENDER No.94
After a re-paint and total refurbish she was tried out on the Omskirk and West Lancs Model Boat Club lake at Hurlston Golf and Country Club Scarisbrick Ormskirk Lancs.
She is not mega fast but sails well as you can see from the video.

Looks great and beautifully finished 😊 . I am currently building the 34.5" Lesro model of this boat and would very much like to see some photos of your model. it would provide me with an excellent guide as to how it should look in detail. Would it be possible for you to send these to me by email or post them on the site?

    Cheers!

Astra
Astra was built from an original 1927 Camper and Nicholson design model, acquired from C&N by my wife's great grandfather. Passed on through the generations, she came to me in a poor state in 2013 and I have rebuilt the deck to 1931 superstructure.
Despite being an antique, she sails every week on Needham Lake.

Great, sounds like you've got Harland and Wolf going on. I'll look out for the new ships you are adding.

Hello Dave Thank you. No plans as such got some on line used a bit of them and pictures so made my own. I am an x toolmaker only took 3 weeks about 120 hours ish, 2 days to sew & decorate the sails, a day to make the hull, the rest to make the bits, the hull is 1 meter long and is a fully working ship pulley blocks all work & sails lovely. I enjoyed the build. Next one Royal Sovereign a bit bigger when I get time, once again Thank you. Paul.
