Hi, I started building the Anfora tug "Duna" (actually the "Frederic Mistral") several years ago but stopped when I could not get the drag chain for the steering strong enough. Seems the all the pulleys along the deck caused too much drag. How does yours work? Any photos?

North Rock Tug
Just a little Hamilton Bay run of my scratch built R/C North Rock tug replica .The real tug was built in 1956 for the Alexandra Towing Co. Liverpool I took a little liberty in the color found out that the cabin was white & my ability to record with my I Phone & steer model ain't to good but it's a sturdy hull .

Shannon Lifeboat 13 09
Scratch built 1:12 Shannon Ilfracombe 13 09

This amazing model is SCRATCH built (including the plug for the hull!!!) by John Sluman

Most fittings are machined metal, some incredcible skill in construction.

Boat in this video is running on brushed motors - it is now converted to brushless.

Snowy joins the crew
I found a plastic model of Captain Haddock and used him as Skipper, then decided to make a clay model of Tintin to join him as crew on my pusher Tug..
- then a friend suggested making a model of Snowy to join the crew. Here’s how I made him!

The Wee Nip is still a modern looking classic design RC Sailing yacht. Seen here in the heart of Derbyshire UK she embraces peace and tranquility.

Thanks for posting the wee nip video. I've never sailed or built one of these, looks like it would be a fun little boat to have, certainly would be easier to transport than most of my sailboats!

Looking like a Windermere Pleasure boat, "Alexandra" is actually a German River Cruiser owned by Buxton Model Boat Club member Keith Holmes.

Russel Brothers Tug
My friend is traveling in B.C., Canada, and took a photo of this Russel Brothers tug, though he did not do it especially for me, just posted it on his FB page. I asked if he had any other views but By the time he got my question he was farther on his journey. Still, this would make a nice project build.
