Sailing on a Sunday
Just a few photos of the Three Musketeers sailing on Sunday 19th July. We seem to be the only three that turn up on a regular basis. Just so happened there was a young lady photographer (Inga Zaiat) taking pictures around the lake. She asked if she could take some of us and the boats. From left to right Myself, Arthur & Ian. Arthur picked up the Victoria for a song at Model Boat Mayhem and after a bit of tinkering we had it up and sailing. Considering the sails are in poor condition it sails very well. Ian's boat is a second hand DF65 and mine (Red one) is built from plans out of the Model Boats magazine but does have a purchased DF65 rig. All good fun. PS. I uploaded the photos in low res as they take up less space and load faster.

Like the photo! What's the issue with the sails on the Victoria? Are they stretched out?

Hi RossM. Yes they have been stretched and are out of shape.

Norfolk Wherry
Some pictures of my Dad's Norfolk Wherry seen here at Eton Park, Norwich. it will be featured in September 2018 "Model Boats" magazine along with his mates Wherry.
It is about 4ft long note my 3ft 72nd scale Corvette looks small next to it.

Stunning model, I'm looking forward to getting around to building mine.

Very nice indeed, it looks like 'Albion",which I had the pleasure of looking around at Oulton Broad; it's an excellent model. I also bought a set of plans from the preservation society so it seems we'll have the makings of a fleet soon!

Fire Boat. Skimmer
Rescued from e-bay.
Decaperm, MonoPerm motor ? was wired for 6 V but very slow so have fitte a Viper Marine ESC and wired for 12 V - not sure if it would take 18 V - any advice would be appreciated.

As no pond near Camberley I boat Sunday mornings at the Stoke Park pond, Guildford. Not a large pond but great for scale and small to medium speed boating.

Second picture of a Skimmer scratch building (plans from Model Boats magazine Sep 2007) - work in progress.
