Despite the title of your Post you didn't actually say where the location is!
However, looking left and right of your cosy gathering I could instantly identify it as the Marine Lake in Cold Knap Gardens. A few views attached.
This was the favourite model boat sailing lake of our dear departed Fleet Admiral Nerys.
CO of our WRENS Division and expert on Thames Sailing Barges.
She handed in her Captains Ticket for sailing barges on 27th March 2023, age 90. We miss her. RIP Nerys.
