The first rule of battery testing is to make sure you test the battery with LOAD.👍

To test a batteries energy properly a load of about 0.5A to 1A needs to placed onto it while taking the voltage reading. if the battery voltage drops right off when the load is placed onto it, then the cell need charging up. if the voltage only drops a little bit then the chances are the battery is fine.
