Custom made rotating radar & gun director, flashing LED spot/signal lights, smoke system, RAM sound system "WHOOPER", RAM Bilge pump. Two guns are set to follow the gun director.

This model of a German North Sea FishingTrawler was built from a Graupner kit in January 1974. The crew are South American, the dog Welsh the owner English and her home port is Maldon. She is powered by a 6volt 400 motor coupled with a Viper 15amp controller and my Spectrum radio outfit. The 6volt 10 amp gel cell also acts as ballast.

This is my first attempt at stick building a boat. it's a DUMAS (model 1203) 33" 1:16 scale Coast Guard lifeboat. Am learning OTJ (on the job)....
The kit is approx 6-7 years old found it on EBAY for $77 USD. Nice wintertime project.

R6M yacht the hull was built from plan by a friend he is building a new R6M Called Romanza I was lucky enough to get this from him it will be getting a coat of paint after I have finish the undercoat and making sure the fin box is completely sealed the new masts & fittings on order from
PJ Wiles hopefully it will be ready for the spring

Scratch built to 1/24th scale this is a model of a famous coastal barge built in 1904 at Mistley for the Horlock fleet. Sailed to victory in the1928 Thames Barge Match with Chub Horlock at the helm she won five "firsts" in her one race - a feat never achieved before or since. You can read about this exciting race in Chub's biography "Mistley Man's Log". S.b.VIGILANT can now be seen at Topsham in Devon where she is under extensive restoration.

Bought of ebay part built .re worked all the stern and smoke stack areas. rc to go in soon ..moving turrets working lights etc..
If I was to do the model again I think I would plank the deck as Im not happy with the finish I have .....who knows if I get fedup I may have a go at re doing it later this yr

Scratch built from plans .model Aircraft from Japan . Smokes from the 4 exhaust ports. at the moment she sits too low in the water ( rather top heavy ). will need a bit more thinking about

renovated from ebay . fair turn of power from a 12v wiper motor. easily up on the plane . just needs the seats sorting out

Just finished this over Christmas. All lights work ,the deck is done with timber strips. just to rig up rc.
All the rigging detaches from the masts so I can gain access to the battery n the running gear. Lashings of Lead used as ballast. Talk about top heavy.......
Think I will weather her and get her smoking .....later

first model boat (apart from airfix) Built early 70's.
I think I need to tart her up a bit as been neglected .
