On Sunday our model boat club did a show at Hamilton's Steam Museum . Kind of hard running model & recording video at the same time but I managed to not run into any ones boat .

Built from a Linkspan Model boat kit, with deck lighting and passengers and crew, sailed at St Georges Park, Kingswinford, West Midlands by Kingswinford Model Boat Club

Our club had our Fun Run today.We operate out of Humber Bay in Toronto whilr the weeds are down.The sun is finally cooperating.
We have two ponds to run our boats in.The Sailors run in the big pond and the scale members run in the smaller pond.Attached are a few photos of the day.I must mention that the first picture is a new construction of a Marblehead out for a test run.The Canadian Coast Guard Ice breaker is totally scratch built with working radar and lights.This member works on his kitchen table.We found out later that he was born on a kitchen table.

Shots from the Chichester Canal RC Boat Run 2018. A bit of an endurance run and all except my galleon made it. Mine decided to not be attached to the prop shaft after a bit. Several children took part and several of the local clubs were there to enjoy the sunshine and company

A few shots from today at the Portsmouth Model Boat Display Teams new club house at the Explosion Museum, Gosport- the tide was out so no boats on the water ☹️
So we sat back with a coffee and some ice cream, enjoyed the sunshine while watching the tide come in ( to give us an idea of how long either side of high tide we have usable water ) and the various boats going around the harbour with a backdrop of HMS Queen Elizabeth. The ex USS Chesapeake/ex HMS Revenge was given an airing in the sun. She is now the Minerve/HMS Minerve depending on which side she is fighting on

Hamilton home & garden 2018 .Our club sets up a pool for the kids & it's a good time to test out any projects made over the winter .this is two members .Willy the whale & the Liverpool Royal Iris .

as earlier message says 93 was an internet buy and was built in the fifties by a scots gent whilst serving in the royal navy and was built in the persian gulf. 94 was built by me in 1959/60 whilst doing my national service in the raf on the island of sylt germany sailed boat on my returnhome the lake at the exhibition park where my brother and i were members of the model yacht club no r/c in those days it was too expensive just a diesel engine and a rudder an away it went
