Gordon bought this hydro from Ebay and fiddled with it lots to get it going. So we went to Ilfracombe pond for a test. it went jolly well to begin with until a large input of water through the windows made it unstable and the result you can see !!! After we recovered it and dried it out it went lovely as you will see from a later video. Les Breame

Video of the Sea Breacher trials in 2012 at Boundary Park Lake

This video supports my concluding blog, # 20.

Sharing last week's video featuring the White Rocks Model Boat Club in Maryland, USA.

22.5 inches RC boat inspired on 1970s Chris-Craft Commander 36, 42 and 45 footer boats. Model equivalent to a real-life 36 footer vessel. Barebones fiberglass hull from a UK manufacturer. Powered with a brushed 500 motor, 30A controller, 9.6v NIHM battery. Video made during first trial at the Eibsee lake in Bavaria, Germany.

Forgive the artistic licence taken in this video...but it was too good an opportunity to miss! 😜

I have video now to show you.

In this follow-up video, Richard, a member of the Offshore Model Racing Association (OMRA) gives me some insight into racing and his boat.

By way of a contrast I found some video from 2014 at the St Helens Open Day.
Beautiful scale model Crash tender operating at some speed.

Scratch Built Boat made to video under water at our model boat lake using full size camera

Video shows two African Queen boats produced by Modeen of Manchester in the 1980's. Ron Needham took over my boat business and developed his own lovely range of boats and this African Queen was one of them. He supplied kits only so you can expect variations in them. These two i have rebuilt from derelicts .One has the LEE engine and the other is older with the Stuart Turner one. Les Breame

This is a re-issue of my previous post as the link to the video failed.
