Chief Petty Officer 2nd Class
new bright sea ray sundancer painted
It is an rc model that consent the customizing of the cockpit cabin but it comes in cheap colours (red, yellow and gray) so I decide to go to a real nautic shipyard to paint with nautical lacquer in a real creamish White! added some decal for water line and lights and scratch build anchor

Photos for Nasraf:
As promised, close-ups of the hatch seal. The rim attached to the deck is 0.5mm mahogany. The inner skin of the drop cockpit is two strips of 0.5mm mahogany glued together. The outer skin and cabiln are made from 1.5mm mahogany. The curve was formed by plank bending soaked mahogany strip. The channel is filled with Vaseline to ensure a waterproof seal.

52' Coast Guard Lifeboat
1/12th scale Guard lifeboat still not finished still havent painted the cockpit thats why the blue window but just couldnt wait to see it on the water. Powered by twin Pittman motors it has six low profile 12v batteries mounted below the waterline to aid in its self righting.

Car Boot RIB project a bit further on!
Now finished off cockpit and rear structure and recruited a couple of crew from bargain 4 for ÂA£1.50 Army pack! They are a bit on the small size or it could be a large RIB!

Has anyone any details of the cockpit canopy, is it a permanent fixture or can it be removed ??. I only have a small b/w picture from a 1972 Keilkraft catalogue (Kit price then was £4.35 !!! )
