scratchbuilt from ply and balsa wood powered by two Caldercraft 750 motors to 40mm props only took about three months to build as a winter project its not perfect but was never meant to be more than a toy, 54 inches long and gives a good response in speed and handling

This particular version of Schnellboat is one I have been looking at for some time to build after I complete my current project of Smit Rotterdam.
Being Scratch-built, I think you have done a particularly good job of it. Did you draw up the plans for this yourself or are they available on the internet for purchase. if I dont build this next it would be one I would like to build in the future.

This is my M.F.A Tracker . When originally purchased it had the large and heavy 850 motors in it and old electronics , after a close call with a fire on board I decided to refit her out with modern Brushless motors and over rated Escs powered by Lipo's . Works out a 1/3 rd the weight 3 times the speed and run time over an hour . So a great result
Oh yes , sound effects donated by nearby Tug 😊

I found the basic boat, a Keil Kraft Sea Rover, in an old second hand shop some years ago, and decided to put her back together. Couldn't resist adding some figures to the deck, even a pair of binoculars.
I added a RC motor and took her to a nearby boating lake. Used a couple of times before retiring to the loft for the last 10 years.
Recently took her out and after a bit of polish and oil for the pro shaft, she's running well.
My question is, does anyone know what's she's worth?

HI All, E.Raymond is 36 inches long x 9 inches beam. She is scratch built, plank on frame with 3mm ply deck. I made her from the Cervia plans and enlarged them to 36 inches. She has a 540 type motor which I rewound with 80 turns of 30swg wire, for more torque. She has a 4 blade prop 60mm diam. and powered by a 6v 4amp SLA battery. I started the build last March, she's not quite finished yet, needs an anchor winch making and a set of tyres on the sides and other small details. I sail her at Holyhead Breakwater Park when I can.

Built from a kitishack kit 56" it runs on two Hobby King 750kv brushless motors I used brake pipe to make the motor cooling coils two 200a water cooled esc,s, I got the 5mm shafts & 42mm brass props and couplings from SHG models the power is supplied via two 14.8v lipos this is a really powerful boat

I think with two beefy out runners, 42mm props on 14.8 lipos it should be a very powerful boat. However I like big boats properly engineered. Well done. 😀

Cheap buy as it had been in the loft for years.
Most of the glue had failed and many parts lost. Totally resprayed or hand painted from deck up. Powered by to monoperm motors. Now finished it is up for sale. Now been sold.
