San Pedro Push Boat

So far so good, the San Pedro is now being painted, I decided to paint her in other colors.
The original colors are white , red ,grey and black!
Painting her other colors made her mine!
Her handrails will be painted in white.

Handrails painted and attached to the deck, every thing is laid out but not glued in place!
I think i'll paint the doors to add more details, as I painted them white and they can't be seen!
Still have the pilot house to work on, will be adding a helm and so forth.

San Pedro 99.7% Completed, I'm debating weather to put a deck in the pilot house!
See the San Pedro doesn't have a deck in her bridge, I don't know why it was left out.

Name plate in place, I still have the pilot house to work on!
Running lights are in place also, I decided to just to put static lights as I didn't want to run wires all over the place.

    Hi Tall Paul
Thanks, I enjoyed myself building her. Her hull was challenging, and if any body ever gets the kit they'll see what I mean. she's going to weigh in at about 21lbs give or take some ounces.

San Pedro Push Boat

Well the San Pedro is basically built, I just have a few fiddly things to do!
I placed Antenna's on the second cabin and aft of the main cabin just for show.
At present I'm not going to show her engine room, because it's bare no running hardware as of yet!

San Pedro Push Boat

At the present I don't have any running hardware installed!
It's basically up to the individual to setup the boat!
If you do a goggle search for a rudder throttle mixer,
you should be able to get the layout of the insides of a two motor and throttle combination model!

    Hi,
I searched for info about rudder throttle mixer and found some useful info, many thanks for that advice.

Many thanks also for taking the time to attach the picture.
I can see that a sub frame is needed to accomodate two motors, two esc, mixer, Rx, battery and on/off switch

It looks like i will need some special glue to glue wood to plastic, any advice ?

I used some Cyanoacrylate Glue Zap-a-Gap Or depending where you are, I've heard Bison Glue is very good, I think this is used for plastic to plastic. and for the wood part I used Z-Poxy 30 Min two part formula.
since my Push Tug used wood and Plastic, I scuffed up where the plastic would meet the wood. use zap-a-gap for this step! don't use epoxy to join plastic to wood it wont hold. use epoxy for wood to wood.
    I hope this helps!

San Pedro Push Boat

The San Pedro needed it's waterline so I put one, especially since I painted the hull brown.
So I put the waterline because she just didn't look right with out one!
