This style of launch is gaining popularity for fast crew and supply boats in the North sea.

Bourbon Orca

Bourbon Orca is an anchor handling vessel based in Bergen.
The owners and builders wouldn't let me have a set of lines, so, I designed this myself on Delftship from photos available on the web.

The hull is plank on frame, driven by twin 900 size motors off 12v. She has an action twin esc and mixer which enables her to pivot on her own axis without the need to use the bowthruster

Trawler built from a hull bought from a moulder in Newbiggin by the sea based on a trawler fishing out of Blyth harbour
it has a Graupner speed 700BB Turbo motor on a kort nozzle it is nearing completion I will post more pictures when it is finished

river patrol boat

Built from a plastic hull given to me by a friend who bought it at a car boot sale the hull has been reinforced with fibreglass then like most kitShack
builds a box was made to hold the running gear it will be powered by a brushless airplane motor & 11.1v lipo battery
I will post more pictures as it progresses

Waveney Lifeboat 1st sail

This is the first sail of this boat its running two geared Como-Drill 2.5:1 motors and seems to be OK with it current setup.

it's running 2 x 50amp resin sealed cheap controllers purchased on Ebay, but the motors only draw about 15Amp maximum with the Como-Drill motors, so really anything that would handle 20Amps would work. Look on Ebay there are plenty of people selling these controllers at about £20. the reason for TWO controllers is to allow the motors to run One Forward and One Reverse the life boat will then turn in its own length. You could just run a single controller and rely on the rudders to turn the model. Hope that this helps "Deswelham" regards Graham

Compass Rose

This Flower Class Corvette should of worked out a great build (It cost enough) Once building I discovered wrong bits, bits missing instructions almost non existent, there was a diagram with everything numbered, but know of the actual parts had such numbers, but working almost blind what to you think of it...My second build?

My first boat...almost finished, need to install the motor & rudder

My second HMS Compass Rose...Deans Models, a ward of advice stay well away from this kit instructions don't exist, parts aren't all there some parts from different kits & to top it all cost me well over £200 to fix it

I was not happy with the Kurt nozzles so turned sum up on me lathe very happy with the result
All the anchor ports wer not wright so had to remodel them to so hears sum pics.

HI there, I obtained it in a garage clearance. I am going to get it up and running and considering the level of detail with controls etc I believe it will be stable. (I hope!!!) 😑
