Danish Steam.
Another youtube offering, and also Danish as per the last video. A very neat steam engine installation of a twin cylinder slide valve, in an open hardwood boat. The three figures on board are to a very high standard and dressed very much the same as the last video. it would seem besides bacon, Denmark is the place to find one's authentic boat crew.

Both this boat and the other one you link to is done by a member of Vallensbæk Modelskibs Klub, where I'm also a member Bernhard is the local king of detailing his boats (and trucks).

Hello Tica, and very nice to make your acquaintance, and I very much appreciate your comment. I think the two video clips posted are quite incredible, and very much admire the skills of the builders and the finely detailed finish on both boats. I rather wish we had more steam enthusiasts in this country, but I am afraid it is nearly all electric motors more is the pity. Regards to yourself and Bernhard definitely the king of fine detail. Gary.

Found this on youtube and had to copy it onto here, the fine detail and the two figures in the boat are unbelievable. A standard to work up to hopefully. A pity the boat is not on the water, can't get over the incredible detail. Enjoy.

Hi Brianaro, it has Denmark printed on the arse end of the boat, it's builder must be a Viking, they were quite handy with boats. Regards, Gary.

Moorcock
I bought the Moorcock from a fellow boater and decided to rebuild her as the Moorcock. The hull was stripped bare and the prop-shaft tube removed and completely remade with a new prop. The hull was then repainted and the life boat and davits added The superstructure was cleaned up and remade with a Robbe spring loaded grappling iron added to the rear deck. She is powered by a 24v scooted motor salvaged from a garbage bin and has 4 x 12v 7amh SLA's to provide power. She is a good strong vesel to sail and is often used as a recovery tug.

March'71
165footer job from Bangladesh navy. Armed with 1 37mm Chinese naval cannon (which I replaced with type 76F variant), 2 orlicons.
Actually used to patrol costal area here , also used in coast guard.
The class name is padma class patrol vessel, designed and made by BN.
Tried to make its rc version in 1:110th scale(I'm not great like you guys so please help me do better and suggest me where I can do better). Length 45cm, beam 7cm. Powered with dual 180.
The only thing I'm suffering is motor shaft connectoŕ. Those two universal joints I bought are not good enough for smooth rotation. They vibrates. So I used silicone tubes. Now I'm using latex rubber tubes .
Any suggestions or plan what I can use in peace!😆

Sooo glad you went for wood and not paint👍
BTW How did you manage to enlist God's help?
Didn't know HE was a model boat enthusiast!
But then again HE did command the building of the Ark 😁
Yours tongue firmly in cheek, Doug 😎

Ashes the scratch built Motor Torpedo Boat
I found this hull at thingiverse last year. I printed the hull from a local shop and rest was handmade.
Firstly I bought a 2426 4200kv brushless 2-3s which was too powerful and too heavy for the boat size. The length is 38cm.
And the 30Amp esc was also too big for it's size.
After that I tried small 180 brushed motor with 20A brushed esc w/brake. it was perfect (still it's heavy😂).
The bridge and deck is made by 1.75mm pvc, torpedos are made of wooden pencil.
Small battery space takes a 2s 500mah lipo. 30mm 3blade propeller.

    Excellent video Sakibian, well done👍
and you're very brave to sail such a tiny boat in waters like that 😲
    Hat off Sir 😉
    Cheers, Doug 😎
BTW: you should put this boat in your 'Harbour', just click on 'Boat Harbour' on the left of the Home page and then 'Add your model boat' at the top.

aero-naut mowe 2 kit. my first rc model boat with a few extras. The kit was ok to build but the prop coupling was a length of silcone tube ? it spun off at the first test run. This was the start of me fitting universal couplings to my boats. The company were being mean using a cheap piece of tube.It runs very quiet and smooth but needed a lot of front end ballast .i made this to try and drag my grandson away from his ipad, phone and the game of fortnite .I tried to get him to help build and run it but to no avail.I now am enjoying a second childhood building boat kits !

PT 109
PT 109 was one of the hundreds of motor torpedo boats (PT) of the PT 103 class completed between 1942 and 1945 by Elco Naval Division of Electric Boat Company at Bayonne, New Jersey. The Elco boats were the largest in size of the three types of PT boats built for U.S. use during World War II. Wooden-hulled, 80 feet long with a 20-foot, 8-inch beam, the Elco PT boats had three 12-cylinder Packard gasoline engines generating a total of 4,500 horsepower for a designed speed of 41 knots. With accommodations for 3 officers and 14 men, the crew varied from 12 to 14. its full-load displacement was 56 tons. Early Elco boats had two 20mm guns, four .50-caliber machine guns, and two or four 21-inch torpedo tubes. Some of them carried depth charges or mine racks. Later boats mounted one 40mm gun and four torpedo launching racks. Many boats received ad-hoc refits at advanced bases, mounting such light guns as Army Air Forces 37mm aircraft guns and even Japanese 23mm guns. Some PTs later received rocket launchers.

This Proboat PT 109 model was brought in 2013 for £100 these boats are rare now, This one had a few faults with the propshafts they were bent and noisy both were replaced, with quality 4mm shafts, motors twin 600s were also replaced by Graupner versions along with mounts and couplings, basically all the running gear, also two ESCs by Aquapower were added and a 2.4G RC system.

CB90
The Model is scratch built from Photos and profiles of the internet it is around 52 inches long and currently runs on two Graupner 700 turbo motors (14.4v) and dual Mtroniks 25A ESC (12v) running twin contra rotating 45mm props, this model can spin on its own axis like the real boat but does not use waterjets due to cost. Completed in 2017.

Whats a CB90

Its a Command Boat 90 originally built by Docstar in sweden and later also built in the USA under licence.
The boat has a multi role capability and has be used by the Army, Police, Coast Guard and Ambalence Service

Originally a Military craft for coastal waters and rivers with a shallow draft and powered by twin water jets this 15 ton Aluminum boat can deliver half a platoon directly on to beach heads via its landing craft type single man door at the bow.

This craft has excellent manoveraility and can crash stop ( go into full reverse and stop) in 1.5 x its length. No-wonder the american's wanted this boat.

SRN3
A challenging project 10 years ago. Scratch built model of theSRN3 built under licence by the US for use in the Mekong delta against the VC in Vietnam. Very light construction with liteply.
Two ESPs control brushed and brushless motors for lift and propulsion. Motor tube ball-raced at each end with a 9x6 pusher prop. Realistic performance and sounds like a turbo prop. Tricky to control in anything stronger than a light breeze. Best on water.
