A scratch built model of a working wherry the skipper/owner was the great grandfather of a near neighbour. Used to work the rivers Wensum and Yare here in Norfolk. Model hull clinker built. in balsa with resin inside and out. Sails really well with a detachable keel. One of four model wherries built.

Scratch built, new hull, starting today no end in sight.
More to come as i progrees.

Built from a Linkspan model kit, with additional crew and passengers with all decks lit with LEDs

Pride of Hythe first sea trials 21/02/2018. Linkspan 1/96 model kit, took 4 months to build. Triple props and bow thruster. She handled well and had a good accurate speed.

This is A Slipway Kit which I have been rebuilding and finished yesterday working lights, radar, sound system, bow thruster, it sails well.

A great display put on by the SRCMBC crew. 👍

Dumas kit Carol Moran, renamed Michael for my first grandson.My first build, learning how to make those brass railings each post being soldered following a paper pattern. Some customizing at the request of my grandson with added port holes, and deck features. He helped to paint it.

As requested I have obtained some pics from Brian Clewes's Hovercraft.
The motors are 900 Kv with 80 amp Escs the lift fan is a 7 blade ducted fan, the thrust prop is a 12in x7in cut down to 10in.
Battery is 14.8v 5000Ma.

Just ran across this (compared with most others from the era) incredibly sharp photo, (right click the photo then left click 'Show photo' and then'+' and you'll see what I mean by sharp!!😉) apparently (allegedly?) a
'Vosper 70ft Motor Torpedo Boat V-252 at Greenock in January 1942. in the background is the Flower class Corvette HMCS Trillium(K172)'
(Which makes me wonder if OUR Trillium served on her!?)

385 motor, 35mm 4 bladed brass prop, 6v battery, featuring sound unit and working lights on 3 circuits,

Built from Scrap, about the Same Size as a billings Nordkap, but a lot Cheaper😊
