The model is to 1:120 scale and is 750mm long
The model is based on the original build of the vessel.

I was fortunate to sail aboard her in the mid '80s, and it's a pipe dream come true to build a scale RC replica of her. in fact, I have the matching 1:48 hull of a USCG 210' WMEC, USCGC VIGOROUS (WMEC-627), that I served aboard prior to.BRAVO ZULU! The boat is a semiscale (Coast Guard Cutter), designed by Hal-Harrison in Marine Modelling. I have doubled its size and put two 540/1 Mfa motors in, driving quanta 45mm props. She is 36" length 8" Bow, runs of one 12 volt 7Ah SLA battery.
It is made from Balsa/Fibreglass resin. Runs well no leaks to date. Gerry.
