Power hungry was possibly a poor use of words. My point was that brushless electronics can and do draw very heavy currents which LiPo's are able to supply, and are very light weight. We use brushless on many model at my club and for performance and endurance they can't be beaten. 👍 😀

It is powered by two 6volt 4AH batteries in series to give 12volts.

Just completed and maiden voyage on Hoylake Lake on the Wirral.
2.4Ghz radio and a bilge pump just in case. Sails a treat with 100 passengers. Extensive use of plasticard on superstructure. Fibreglass hull from own mould.

It was a well loved and trusty vessel and I am sure I am not alone in having many happy memories of cross river trips on her and her sister ferries.

it has a Graupner speed 700BB Turbo motor on a kort nozzle it is nearing completion I will post more pictures when it is finished
builds a box was made to hold the running gear it will be powered by a brushless airplane motor & 11.1v lipo battery
