Looks great 👍 Same scale as my Belfast and Graf Spee. Shame we can't re-enact the Battle of the River Plate! I live in Munich.
If you ever come to Bavaria .... Cheers, Doug 😎

Queen
Aeronaut Queen kit. Finished this September. I have not been adventurous but tried to keep very close to the Aeronaut suggested colours etc. I have tried it out on my above ground temporary 5 metre pool and it really works although going round and round in circles at a low speed is frustrating. However there were no leaks and the electrics behaved impeccably. We have a rather large lake nearby at Hourtin in France which I hope use shortly so that I can open her up. Thoroughly recommend this manufacturer. The kit is superb, very good quality and the instructions, (once you have downloaded the English versions), are very thorough. Really enjoyed this project. it is a return to the hobby that I had 40 years ago, but gave up because of kids etc. Now I am retired I intend to get back in again.

Dumas American Enterprise
Maiden voyage of American Enterprise on Poole Park Lake 10/2/15. Leopard 4074-1400kv x 2 Mystery 100a ESC x2 all watercooled. 4 cell lipo 6500MA. Went very well until one brand new ESC packed up! Second one to do this, bit iffy I reckon. Turns a treat and very scale like in running.

Wacker Quacker 1 and 2
These two models were of the Liverpool DUKWs operating around the Liverpool dock area and city center until they were withdrawn due to a couple of sinkings in the dock. The Queen and Prince Philip both travelled on one of them, fortunately there were no mishaps on these trips or the organizers would have ended up in the Tower of London.
The models are of different scales and built from photos only.
Due to the demise of the real ones I decided to sell both of mine.

Sirius Paddle Steamer
Sirius was the first vessel to cross the Atlantic under steam power for the entire journey in 1847.
The model is scratch built almost entirely from wood with an plank on frame hull. She is powered by two geared electric motors on paddles. She is radio controlled by 40 Mhz Radio.
The plan was very basic as you can see from photo, but there is a model in the Liverpool Maritime museum which I was able to photograph and copy.
When completed she was purchased from me by the Beale Park, Child of Beale Trust in Reading and is still on display at that site.

That looks very nice, my sort of boat, don't quite understand how you have stained a FG hull though.

It's a shame there are no drawings for this boat
