Just kind of stumbled across this site as I was trying to find out what had happened to eezibilt web site.
I am in the process or should that be building a Tortola sloop, well it will be my version as it seems there are variations on the theme..( as in music) , I'm also making a X2 version of Eezibulit Curlew, I've done the original and a 75% version. 1.5 X version, so now I'm going for the big one, TWICE the size, comes out at 20 and a 1/2 inches. might be a bit more once the skins are on?
I made a larger version of Mermaid but thought it didnt look too great...the original I have sailed on Loch Ken in Scotland, a long way to go to sail a boat but I was on holiday up there. I think along with Curlew they are nice little boats.
Just one other question Does anyone know the whereabouts of HArry Duncan I was emailing him up to a while ago but now he seems to have gone awol?

Hi, I am just completing my second build, 1/96 scale HMS Blake. The first HMS Montrose (Type 23) was completed some two years ago.

Looked at a few sites for help and information with my first boat and this was the ONLY one that seems as it should be 'Helpful and Friendly'. Read a few posts and saw--- No clicks, no my boats better than your boat and no superiority complexes which is rare in a lot of groups or forums. Signed up straightaway.

Just came back to rc modelling after many years and the site has been a mine of useful up to date information and good advice. Many thanks.
