DRIVING 2 BOATS AT ONCE
Running 2 models at once with 2 TXs for a bit of fun for a video. No one else to steer so it was just me, (not particularly coordinated though!) Sorry about the video, YT seems to stuff some of them up even though they are the correct format, (sound almost disappears as well)

Re - Small table to rest the trannies on
What Doug said Ken,😀 Was easier before I changed to twin throttles as I had each boat on a separate stick.

Re - Well what do you expect livin' on yer 'eads
Probably something to do with the space time continuum Doug, did you know the water runs the other way down the plughole down South (or up South if you want to be contrary) Mind you, the blood running to the top of the head makes us think differently (same with the Aussies, although they think slightly more left than us😊

Aerokits 34" Crash Tender
Nice sunny Sunday Sail at Boundary Park so took the Crash Tender for a spin
28XX brushless 11.1v 2200 Lipo 35mm three blade brass prop.
Uses 30 amp cars ESC with small fan.
Tx set to 55% on throttle otherwise it takes off. Rudder throw at 50% for same reason. Switchable to 100% for slow speed manouvers.
Great fun.

Original Aerokits Solent Lifeboat
Decided to sail the Solent so took some video to share. Uses 2 Bhuler 12v brushed motors with 4 bladed 45mm PropShop props and 12v 12AHr SLA. Twin Electronize ESCs. Radio is Futaba 6Ex but I will probably change to the Taranis so I can get better control using some bespoke Tx settings to co-ordinate the props and rudder.
Lifeboat crewe had been on a night out so not quite vertical. Aplogies for the shaky video, it's difficult to sail and video at the same time.

very nice boat and yes it is difficult to video and sail at the same time ! try to get someone else to steer while you video !! using a tripod is best. Les Breame

    Thanks for your feedback.
I was using a monopod so I could pan and follow the model. I agree the tripod works much better. All my fellow sailors were otherwise engaged unfortunately.

Some of the radio bits will almost certainly appear in on-line adverts.

Lets hope the perpetrators can be found and the model restored to its rightful owner.

Badger Customs Launch
Scratch built some years ago, powered by 6volt PB battery.
She was always very slow and hard to manoeuvre. She was made from MM plans. I could never get her to behave in the water. 27Mhz TX/RX. tried changing motor, prop 6 to 12 volts nothing seemed to make much difference, gave up in the end. You can't win them all.

This is the video that should have appeared first!! Please Ignore the Buoy incident , I was not concentrating watching my wife with my phone! if you notice the turns are very large, so I have increased throws on the rudders, will try again and if not, apply some mix to motors through the rudder input on the Tx. Enjoy, Brian

This Is a scratch built paddle steamer named "Jeanie Deans "
This was scratch built apart from the fibre glass hull which I purchased.
Model is 65" long with a beam of 10". Power is by electric running via a gearbox at 300 rpm. Ihave taken almost 2years to complete the model working most days on it. Attention to detail was the order of the day.
I am using a Planet T5 Tx and Rx, 5 channels. I have a smoke generator pushing steam out of the twin funnels, synchronised to forward speed, faster the revs, faster the steam. Conventional rudder operation.
Have an operating Radar, ships horn, simulated steam noise varies as speed is altered, full navigation lights, all cabin lights can be switched on and to keep the 106 passengers happy I have a Banjo Band playing to complete the scene. Have sailed it recently at Peterborough and performs really really well. Have to say it tends to attract a lot of interest.
I am now constructing the Ayton Cross tug in 1:32 scale, with all the detail I want.Plan is to tow the Jeanie Deans around when completed as well assailing her

I acquired this Snowberry in need of some TLC. I found some pictures of a flower class captured by the Germans in France. I used a bit of modellers licence but I think it does represent the ship. it is powered by a MFA 540, 6volt gel cell and ripmax esc. Tx rx 204 gig

Landing Craft
HI fellow modellers, Another model from the RADMC fleet at the fleetshaven workshop and boat yard in Ponthir. This model was scratch built using a fibre glass hull and plan obtained from a fellow modeller at the Bridgend Show in 2007. The front door and some fittings are made from plastic card and tube, decks are from ply and timber. On board figures are from the pound shop and car boot sales, modified by myself. The on board tank and half truck are RTR models that I have modified their looks to fit into a WWII theme for the craft. This craft has twin drive, 400 motors via 2.5/1 gearboxes. I tend to use both sticks on the TX for drive as this allows me to turn the model on a six pence. The dispatch door works from a rotary pot on the TX and via a rotary sail winch servo in the hull. I have just modified my Planet 5 TX to allow me to change my radio gear in this craft. This model has had meny trips on Cwmbran Boating Lake and at shows the society attend during the year. Still haven't allowed the tank or half track to run off the landing craft up the lake side slipway. one day I might get it on video. Hope you enjoyed the photo's. Regards GreyWolf

my boat is powered by a 26cc zenoah engine,I skinned the outside in real carbon fiber and the interior with carbon/kevlar.I use a spektrum DX3S 2.4ghz tx with a spektrum MR3000 marine rx.the boat is equipped with a killer bee remote kill switch that doesn't need any power source to work so it will still kill the engine instantly in the event of battery failure or broken wire or when I want to from the tx. the carbon fiber was hand laid and wetted out with a special resin, then around six weeks of hand sanding with different grades of wet and dry to get it super smooth, then polish.
